My name is Terrie Watch and I am a potter. I took my first pottery class from Dr. Darrow at the University of Tennessee in 1978. Over the years I had some opportunities to “play in the clay”, but it wasn’t until my husband purchased an electric wheel for me in 1999 that I really got going. And now I cannot stop! I enjoy making things that can be used by people in their everyday lives. Many of the designs you see were inspired by the need for such items in our own home. The glaze colors and straight-forward designs you see very much represent me and my natural approach to life.

My husband and I have four daughters: Megan (25), Kalie (23), Quinn (8) and Lucie (6). Quinn & Lucie (pictured below) are from China. They joined our family at the ages of 13 months and 19 months respectively. And so … I am a 51 year old woman who still goes down the slides at the playground – I love it!
